It was with sadness that on Thursday 23rd September 2021 that we had to say farewell to John and Jeni. They had worshipped here since 1984 and had over that time extended friendship to so many people.
John was extremely accomplished in all things property – so spent countless hours plumbing, fixing light bulbs, electrics, roof, fire system and so much more. We will of course miss him in this role, but far more miss him as a warm, welcoming and supportive friend.
Jeni was extremely accomplished in all things administrative – so spent countless hours in the role of secretary taking minutes in meetings, typing them up, forming agendas, keeping us in order, as well as receiving and responding to communications from all over – plus other duties I am yet to discover! Of course we will also miss Jeni mainly for her equally warm, welcoming and supportive friendship.
We wish them well in their new home and will visit them soon – but not until boxes have been unpacked!
