It was with sadness that, on Thursday 23rd September 2021 we had to say farewell to John and Jeni.  They had worshipped with us at Great Missenden Baptist Church since 1984 and offered friendship to all of us over that many years. John, who was extremely accomplished in all things property has spent countless hours sorting plumbing, electrical, roof, heating, fire systems and so much more.  He will be missed, yes for the building maintenance, but so much more as a warm, welcoming and supportive friend.  Jeni was extremely accomplished in all things administrative and has also spent countless hours in the role of secretary, taking minutes in meetings, typing them, producing agendas, receiving communication and replying.  Again, Jeni will be missed in this role, but far more as an equally warm, welcoming and supportive friend.  We wish them the very best in their future and will look forward to visiting them in their new home – once all boxes have been unpacked!
