We invite you to a showing of “A United Kingdom” starring Rosamund Pike and David Oyelowo, which tells the inspiring real-life romance of Seretse Khama, King of Bechuanaland (modern Botswana) and Ruth Williams, the London office worker he married in 1948 in the face of fierce opposition from their families and the British and South African governments. A United Kingdom celebrates one of the greatest love stories ever told.
Popcorn and soft drinks available, this event is free, but donations to Christian Aid will be greatly appreciated.
